Our spyphotographers have caught the first images of a
Undergoing testing on the Nurburgring, the prototype features a revised front bumper with four-slotted vents on the sides. Also, clearly for testing purposes, the lower center lip section of the bumper has been cut out to give unobstructed air exposure to a larger intercooler sitting just within. These modifications indicate the special edition will have more power and better brakes than the standard
As you may recall, the Megane RS is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 250 PS (184 kW / 247 bhp) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque. In recent years, it has been outgunned by models like the 350 PS (257 kW / 345 bhp)
