Our spies have caught the Hyundai Veloster undergoing testing in Europe.

While heavily camouflaged, we can see the production model will closely resemble the concept which debuted at the 2007 Seoul Motor Show. The front end features unique headlights, a sporty grille, and large fog lights. Other styling touches include black A-pillars, a sloping roofline, large taillights, and a center-mounted dual exhaust system.

As we have previously reported, the interior will feature a symmetrical dashboard, a Dimension audio system, chrome door handles, heated seats, a push-button ignition, and a large LCD display.

Under the hood, power will likely be provided by a naturally-aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 90 kW (121 hp / 122 PS) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft) of torque. Eventually, Hyundai will introduce a turbocharged version with at least 131 kW (175 hp / 177 PS). These engines could be connected to a twin-clutch gearbox, but that remains unconfirmed.

Set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, the Veloster will go on sale in Europe in early 2011.
