Our spyphotographers have managed to catch several new images of the 2012 Mercedes GL 63 AMG.

Spied near the Nürburgring, the massive crossover/SUV is heavily camouflaged but that doesn't prevent us from seeing a GLK-like grille, slimmer headlights and five-spoke AMG wheels which cover cross-drilled brake discs.

Like the redesigned ML 63 AMG, power will be provided by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 with 544 PS (400 kW / 537 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a seven-speed Speedshift MCT transmission, which should make the GL 63 AMG one of the fastest seven-seat SUVs on the planet.
