Will likely offer an EcoBoost engine

Our spies have managed to catch the first images of the facelifted 2012 Ford Kuga.

Undergoing testing in Germany, the mule is virtually indistinguishable from the current model as only the camouflage hints at minor changes to the front bumper and dual exhaust system. Regardless, styling is expected to draw inspiration from the redesigned Focus.

Under the hood, the engine lineup will likely be revised to include Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost. This should result in improved performance and reduced emissions.

The updated Kuga will be unveiled next year with sales starting shortly thereafter.
